HMCIG was founded in 2006 and we currently invest in community events and the various ventures of our business partners - both internally and externally. Our philosophical approach is “investing with a heart." As social entrepreneurs, giving back is important in many of our investment areas.
Currently, our notable investments include our Annual Drumline Competition. During this event, we invite high school drumlines to compete for trophies, gift certificates, bragging rights, and a $1,000 donation to the winning music program. Our latest investment is TheHBCUjobsite.com, a site where educators and professionals can search job openings at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) and the organizations that support their missions; and, where companies can connect with HBCU graduates.
